Discover Athlone

Well the shots have been taken and the ink is now dry... And our pics of Athlone now catch the eye of passers by in the Athlone Town Centre.... Go look... some great work there....

Had a look today and there are some nice shots entered.

I'd be a bit annoyed if any of my shots were hanging though. They are totally open to being handled and marked and damaged. Two shots had fallen down and were sitting on the ground when I was in there.

Not having a go at anyone in the club btw, I don't even know if it's us, the shopping centre or Discover Ireland who are responsible for them.

Yes delighted with the the entries, some very good shots.
It's unfortunate about the damage done to the photos. Myself ,John and Epi spent 3 hrs on Saturday hanging the photos in the least damaging way. Unfortunatly I think the stands have been moved causing them them to fall.
I'm afraid there's not a lot we can do, John Rabbett has been checking in daily to try and minimise the damage.
