This workshop is part of a series of masterclasses being run by the Arts Services of
Laois, Offaly, Longford and Westmeath county councils. Aimed at experienced and advanced photographers this masterclass will deal with photography in circumstances of diminished light.
The class will be in three sections; the first part discussing the techniques of ambient lighting photography, the second part will involve some field exercises in low light photography and the final section will involve on-screen analysis of images taken during field exercises.
The master class will be of little value to photographers with limited photographic or technical experience.
Tony Murphy graduated from Sligo IT in Fine Art Sculpture prior to qualifiing from NCAD with an MA in Fine Art Sculpture. He has been a lecturer in Art & Design Education at The National College of Art and Design since 1994. His interest in digital image making has influenced his involvement in numerous
Digital Media and Development Education Projects. He is a founding member of Boyle Camera Club, Co. Roscommon.
