A number of photographers across the country are offering a wide range of workshops and seminars over the coming months that may be of interest to members.
Here’s a brief synopsis of some of the training opportunities available:
•The Institute of Photography (formerly Digital Beginners) run by Dave McKane is a dedicated digital photography school, which runs night, evening, day and weekend courses on various aspects of photography, from beginners to studio and wedding photography to post processing. •Cork and Dublin based landscape photographer Peter Cox is running a series of seminars as well as field trips over the coming months. More information at www.petercox.ie.
•Also in Cork, Mike Brown Photography is also offering a range of workshops, tuition, and phototours for those interested in nature and landscape photography. More details at www.mikebrownphotography.com.
•In Kerry, leading landscape photographer John Hooton is running Images of Light Photography Workshops in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula in April and May. Further information at www.john-hooton.com.
•Clare-based fine art landscape and nature photographer Carsten Krieger also runs workshops in West Clare and the Burren area. More details at www.carstenkrieger.co.uk.
•Wicklow-based photographers and tutors, Peter and Ed Gordon, who run Explore Light, are also offering a range of workshops and seminars. More information at www.explorelight.com.
