teamer events????
hi all just back from hoildays im one of the ones who havent managed to sign up to teamer yet so if there is any shoot over the coming weeks can somebody stick it on the forum if time permits i may be able to get to it

I registered on the website but according to Tech Support you can only get access to the details if you have been invited to join the team

looks like we will have to go back to the pidgeon or smoke signals. im leaning towards the smoke signals myself it would give me a chance to get the bbq out of the shed

May as alternative we could use Google Calendar instead.
Google calendar is currently used in the club website to show the programme.
An idea would be to create another calendar, by invite only ( people of the committee have e-mail of members) where
any member has the right to create and share new events.
Then whomever wants to organize a photo shoot just need to create the new events.
Members only will required to set-up their calendar settings so as to be notified by default, let say,
1 day before the event takes place.
Google calendar allows the member to setup a mobile phone, so that the member can be notified by sms.
(That is up to every member to setup their own calendar preferences, mobiles are not shared between others members)
It reads complex but in practice is much, much more simple to setup than to describe it.
